Tobogganing is a classic winter experience in Austria. In the Bregenzerwald in Vorarlberg, there are perfectly groomed toboggan runs, natural trails and atmospheric descents under floodlights. The toboggan run at the Grunholz lift is one of the most popular toboggan runs around Schoppernau. There is a separate slope reserved exclusively for tobogganing. The 2.5-kilometre-long run combines quiet passages with lively descents and is suitable for all age groups.
A special sledge can also be used on the drag lift. Sledge hire is available directly at the Grunholz lift valley station.

On selected evenings, the toboggan run at the Grunholz lift is open under floodlights. Night tobogganing creates a special atmosphere and complements the winter daytime activities with an atmospheric evening experience.
